Spiced Hot chocolate
A cup of homemade spiced hot chocolate makes for a cosy winter warmer. Wholesome Sarda Farms milk boosts the taste of this chocolaty drink. Use spices of choice or you can skip them completely.
- 1 cup Sarda Farms milk
- 1-1 ½ tablespoons cocoa
- 1-2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons grated dark chocolate
- ½ vanilla bean (or use extract)
- ½ piece star anise
- ½ inch cinnamon stick
- Pinch of red chilli flakes
Warm milk in a pan on low flame.
Stir in sugar, cocoa, vanilla bean, cinnamon and anise .
Stir and Simmer for 1 minute.
Add half the chocolate and stir.
Serve hot garnished with remaining chocolate and chilli flakes. You can also top it with marshmallows or whipped cream
