- ½ cup oats flour
- 1 ¼ cup whole wheat flour
- ¼ cup cooked moong dal (you can use leftover dal)
- 1/3 – ½ cup Sarda Farms milk (as required)
- 4-5 tablespoons Sarda Farms ghee
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1-2 garlic cloves, grated
- 2-3 sprigs coriander leaves, chopped (or mint leaves)
Mix together flours, moong dal, 1 tablespoon ghee, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garlic, salt, coriander leaves in a mixing bowl or the bowl of a food processor.
Gradually add milk (or water) to it and knead to make a soft pliable dough.
Cover and keep the dough for 15-20 minutes
Divide the mixture in 7-8 portions. Roll to make balls and then flatten them to make disc.
Roll the disc with a rolling pin to make a thick, small circle.
Apply 2-3 drops of ghee in the middle of the circle with your fingers.
Fold the circle in half and then fold again to make a triangle.
Dust the work surface lightly, and roll out the triangle into a 6-7 inch circle.
Heat a griddle and place the paratha over it.
Cook on both sides on medium-high flame till brown spots appear. Drizzle ghee on both sides while cooking.
Repeat this with the rest of the dough.
