Mango Sheera (halwa)

Mango sheera makes for a delicious, healthy treat for kids and adults alike. The aroma of additive free Sarda Farms combined with the mangoes makes this sheera irresistible.



  • 1 ‏cup semolina (rava)
  • 2-3 ‏tablespoons Sara Farms ghee
  • 1/3 ‏cup jaggery powder (or as required)
  • 1 ‏large mango, peeled and chopped
  • 7-8 ‏cashew nut halves (or any other nuts of choice)


Heat 2 tablespoons ghee in a small pan on low flame.

Add the semolina and roast till you get the typical aroma.

Take it out on a plate.

Add mango and jaggery in the pan and cook on low flame till the jaggery melts.

Add about 2 -2 ¼ cups water and bring it to a boil.

Add semolina and stir to mix well.

Cook covered till most of the water evaporates and the semolina is cooked.

Take pan off heat.

Heat remaining ghee in a small pan

Add cashew nuts and fry till they turn golden brown.

Add cashew nuts to the mango sheera and mix.

Serve hot
