Herbed buttermilk salad dressing
Add some zing to your salad with this energising herbed buttermilk dressing. Buttermilk made using using delicious dahi from Sarda Farms, makes the salad refreshing. The dressing can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for upto 2 days. Use a combination of any vegetables of your choice to make the salad.


For the dressing:
- 1/3 cup Sarda Farms dahi
- Small bunch of herbs like mint, coriander, dill etc.
- 1-2 garlic greens (optional)
- 1-2 teaspoons mustard paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon pepper powder
- 1-2 teaspoons lime juice
- Salt to taste
For the salad:
- 2 English cucumbers, chopped
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- 1 onion peeled and chopped
- 1-2 coloured peppers, chopped
- Few lettuce leaves, torn
Method
Add all the ingredients under ‘for the dressing’ to a blender along with 2-3 tablespoons of water.
Drizzle the dressing over the chopped vegetables and serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes and then serve.
