Ghee egg fry

Boiled eggs are stir fried in a ghee and spice tempering to make this delicious ghee egg fry. Pure, additive free Sarda Farms ghee makes this egg fry flavourful and delectable. Ghee egg fry can be served on its own or with chapatti/paratha or can be used as a stuffing for rolls or sandwiches.



  • 3 ‏hard boiled eggs, shelled and cut into pieces or halved
  • 2 tablespoons ‏Sarda Farms ghee
  • 1 teaspoon ‏cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ‏coriander seeds
  • 7-8 ‏black peppercorns
  • 1 ‏onion,finely chopped
  • 2-3 ‏garlic cloves,minced
  • ½ teaspoon ‏fennel (saunf) seeds
  • ‏Salt to taste


Grind together fennel seeds, coriander seeds and black pepper to make a coarse powder
Heat ghee in a non-stick pan on low flame.
Add cumin seeds.
Once they sizzle add garlic and onion.
Sauté till the onion turns translucent.
Add the powdered spices and stir.
Add chopped (or halved) eggs.
Add salt and mix.
Cook for a minute, stirring once or twice
Serve hot.
