Garlic Raita (Burani)
Garlic Raita, popularly known as Burani raita is usually served as an accompaniment to Biryani or pulav. Sliced garlic fried in flavourful Sarda Farms ghee team up well with creamy-tangy Sarda Farms dahi.
- ¾ cup Sarda Farms dahi, whey drained
- 1 tablespoon Sarda Farms ghee
- 4-5 garlic cloves,sliced
- ½ teaspoon cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- Few mint leaves for garnish
In a small pan heat ghee on low flame.
Add the sliced garlic and fry till it turns golden brown.
Take pan off the heat.
Whisk dahi with salt and place in a serving bowl.
Top it with fried garlic and sprinkle cumin powder and chilli powder over it.
Serve garnished with mint leaves.
