Leftover Idlis get a nutritious makeover with wholesome Sarda Farms dahi to make this refreshing snack/breakfast. Idlis are topped with dahi and tempered with spices to make this quick snack. You can use button idlis (as used in the recipe ) or regular ones.
- 10-12 button idlis
- ½ - ¾ cup Sarda Farms dahi, whisked
- ½ teaspoon grated ginger
- Salt to taste
Whisk together dahi, ginger and salt in a small bowl.
Place the idlis in a serving bowl.
Spread dahi over the idlis.
Heat ghee in a small pan on low flame.
Add mustard seeds and once they splutter,add the cumin seeds.
Add chillies, curry leaves and roasted chana dal.
Fry for a few seconds and take pan off heat.
Add hing and pour the tempering over dahi.
Serve at room temperature or chilled
