Dahi deviled eggs

If you are looking for a quick protein packed breakfast or snack these Dahi deviled eggs recipe is perfect for you. Additive free, nutritious Sarda Farms dahi replaces mayonnaise which is usually used to make deviled eggs. Dahi not only makes the eggs healthy but also enhances their taste. This is a basic recipe,you can adjust the amount of ingredients to your taste.

 

Ingredients

  • 2 ‏hardboiled eggs, shelled
  • 1 ‏tablespoon mustard paste (or powder)
  • 2 ‏tablespoons Sarda Farms dahi, whey drained
  • ½ ‏teaspoon crushed black pepper
  • ¼ -½ ‏teaspoon red chilli powder
  • ‏Salt to taste

Method

Cut eggs lengthwise into half.

Carefully remove the egg yolks into a bowl and place the whites on a serving platter.

Add dahi, mustard, salt, black pepper to the yolks and mash to blend everything.

Place spoonful of this yolk mixture in the egg white cavities.

Sprinkle red chilli powder over it.

Garnish with herbs of choice (optional)

Serve immediately.
