A refreshing twist to the popular thirst quencher, Cucumber Chaas is the perfect drink to beat the heat. Cucumber amps up its nutritive value. For a variation you can use beetroot instead of cucumber.
Sarda Farms low fat Dahi made from fresh cow milk and free of any additives, lends a delicious flavour to Cucumber Chaas
- 3/4 cup chopped English (green) cucumber
- ½ cup Sarda Farms Dahi
- ½ cup water (or as required depending on the consistency required)
- ½ teaspoon Rock salt
- ¾ teaspoon cumin powder
- ½ black pepper powder
- Handful of chopped herbs of choice (dill/Suva, min, coriander)
Blend the cucumber, dahi, water, salt, cumin powder, pepper powder together in a mixer, till the cucumber is crushed completely.
Chill for half an hour at least.
Add chopped herbs and serve.
